On June 13, 2022, Eliseo Ayala joined the City of Avenal’s city manager and city clerks’ departments to complete a summer internship. His position was made possible with the support of CCMF’s Judy L. Kelsey Memorial Fund.

The California City Management Foundation hosted the 2022 Annual Member Appreciation Dinner at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey. This year’s event was on February 3 and over 260 members and sponsors were in attendance.
Each year, the California City Management Foundation (CCMF) presents two awards during the League of California Cities City Managers Conference: The City Manager of the Year Award and The Corporate Sponsor of the Year Award.
CCMF’s 2021-23 Strategic Plan is focused on providing more opportunities for the city management community to stay in touch; expanding research and data surrounding the profession; and streamlining the membership management system.
