CCMF’s largest event of the year, the Annual Member Dinner, took place earlier this month in Indian Wells with nearly 300 people in attendance. During the cocktail hour, guests met old friends and made new ones while enjoying the musical stylings of Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe impersonators under a clear, starry desert sky at the home of Anthony Gonsalves. Following the four-course dinner, guests even had the option of sitting down at a pop-up cigar bar to rest tired feet after a full day at the League of CA Cities City Managers Department Meeting.

During the dinner, CCMF President Wade McKinney publicly thanked CCMF’s sponsors for making the event possible and presented two awards:

  1. The CCMF City Manager Award to Bruce Channing, City Manager of Laguna Hills
  2. The CCMF Corporate Sponsor Award to Mitch Barker of PARS

“As the newest West Coast Vice President for ICMA and a Past President of the League of California Cities City Manager Department, Bruce has become a well-known ambassador for CCMF and for the City Manager profession,” said CCMF President Wade McKinney. “We are happy to acknowledge his service to the City Manager community.”

“Mitch and the team at PARS have been CCMF supporters for a long time. Not only that, but they help keep our Golf Tournament running like clockwork,” said CCMF Executive President Ken Pulskamp. “We wouldn’t be where we are today without their support, and it was a pleasure to publicly thank them for all their help over the years.”

CCMF would like to thank the team at Keenan for organizing all the aspects of the 2016 Annual Member Dinner, and thanks to the Gonsalves family for opening their home to us. View the Facebook Photo Album below and please feel free to Tag yourselves on Facebook!
