LGSI Stanford 2019The California City Management Foundation has long has been a sponsor of the annual Local Governance Summer Institute (LGSI) seminar at Stanford University. The 2019 seminar will be held July 21-26, 2019 on the Stanford University campus.

Registration is now is open for the 2019 program. Online applications are available and are due by June 9, 2019.

Please visit the LGSI informational page on the Stanford website and on LGSI’s Facebook Page. There will be reduced rate rooms available at a nearby hotel for LGSI participants.

This year, the California Statewide Communities Development Authority (CSCDA) is offering four scholarships to the LGSI. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please send a copy of your completed LGSI application along with a cover letter addressed to CSCDA to jhamill@cscda.org. The 2019 LGSI program will feature presentations from a variety of Stanford faculty, leading practitioners in California local government and innovative leaders from the high-tech community in Silicon Valley where LGSI is based. LGSI is designed to present the best blend of the academic and the practitioner worlds to local government professionals who want to expand their outlook and skill set in this continually evolving field.
