CCMF supports the past, present and future generations of City Managers. In addition to the Encore Workshop for senior and retired managers and the New & Future City Managers Seminar for younger/soon-to-be managers, we are now offering a “Mid-Career Workshop” for seasoned City Managers.

The first instance of this two-day program will take place Thursday, May 18 and Friday, May 19, 2017 at the Sonoma Coast Villa & Spa in Bodega, CA. The Mid-Career Workshop aims to address issues and concerns common to those who have considerable experience as City Managers. The Workshop will bring seasoned professionals together to support one another and offer each other advice on a wide range of professional experiences and subjects.

The group is limited to 18 participants who will spend nearly all of their time together in close discussions, eating meals together, and staying at the same hotel. Group discussions will be led by long-tenured City Managers who act as facilitators. You must be a current CCMF member to apply.

This new Workshop is yet another way CCMF supports City Managers throughout the state. For those who have hit their stride as managers, this is an opportunity to refresh and visit important issues with the support and guidance from senior mentors. We look forward to making this a highly valuable event for years to come. – CCMF President Wade McKinney
