Apply for a $5,000 Harvard Scholarship in 2019-20

Harvard Leadership Program
Each year, CCMF offers up to three (3) $5,000 scholarships to active CCMF members accepted to a program at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Executive Education.

In particular, the “Leadership Decision Making” course teaches leaders like you how to answer tough questions, improve the accuracy of your estimates, and structure effective negotiations. It also teaches you how to design better decision environments—ones that reduce bias and inaccuracy—making your organization smarter.

As city managers, we make decisions every day. It is a rare opportunity to step away from the daily pressures and expectations and examine how we personally operate. The program provided an opportunity to learn new concepts and put into practice those concepts with a diverse group of professionals from around the world.
– Ken Striplin – CCMF President and City Manager of Santa Clarita

If you are an active 2019-20 CCMF member and have been accepted to the September 8-13 “Leadership Decision Making” program or any other Harvard Kennedy School program, please apply for a CCMF $5,000 scholarship by August 8, 2019. Visit our Harvard Scholarship page for more information about how to apply and what past scholarship winners have said about their time at the Harvard Kennedy School of Executive Education.
