At the recent International City/County Management Association (ICMA) annual conference, CCMF Trustee Bruce Channing assumed his post as the newest ICMA Vice President of the West Coast region.

Bruce was elected as the newest West Coast Regional VP by ballot earlier this year. He is the City Manager of Laguna Hills, California and was one of the original interviewees in our “Meet Your City Manager” series.

The 21-member ICMA Executive Board consists of a president, a president-elect, a past president and multiple vice presidents that serve ICMA’s six geographic regions. As ICMA Vice President for the West Coast region, Bruce Channing will have a variety of responsibilities and be a constant presence among West Coast ICMA members. He will also participate in four Executive Board meetings per year and share representation responsibilities for state/regional associations and state/regional meetings.
