The California City Management Foundation has long has been a sponsor of the annual Local Governance Summer Institute (LGSI) seminar at Stanford University. The 2020 seminar will be held from July 19-24, 2020 on the Stanford University campus.

This year, the California Statewide Communities Development Authority (CSCDA) is offering scholarships to the LGSI. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please send a copy of your completed LGSI application along with a cover letter addressed to CSCDA to jhamill@cscda.org. The 2020 LGSI program will feature presentations from a variety of Stanford faculty, leading practitioners in California local government and innovative leaders from the high-tech community in Silicon Valley where LGSI is based. LGSI is designed to present the best blend of the academic and the practitioner worlds to local government professionals who want to expand their outlook and skill set in this continually evolving field.
