The annual New & Future City Managers Seminar (NFCM) is one of the key initiatives through which the CCMF supports the next generation of city managers. This multi-day workshop provides new and aspiring city managers with invaluable hands-on mentoring from experienced and retired professionals in the field. Participants have the chance to share their aspirations, concerns and questions about every aspect of the city manager role. They receive guidance on navigating the complex responsibilities of fiscal management, politics, legal challenges and public relations that come with the job.
