The California City Management Foundation’s continuing goal is to support and encourage excellence in city management. In addition to the resources available to our members, the organization prides itself on reaching out to all city managers, members or not, to provide support, information, and guidance.

The Wes McClure Scholarship
The Wes McClure Scholarship is offered annually to graduate students (including prospective students) attending a public or private university or college in California who best portray their interest in pursuing jobs in the local government.

The New & Future City Managers Seminar
CCMF hosts its annual New & Future City Managers Seminar every Fall. The event is a much-anticipated opportunity for up and coming talent to engage with seasoned veterans of the industry.

Executive Education Grants
Each year, CCMF offers two (2) $10,000 scholarships to active CCMF members who are seeking to nurture their leadership skills through educational programs.

Judy L. Kelsey Memorial Fund
This program is made possible thanks to Judy Lyn Kelsey, a longtime California city manager. CCMF will grant two (2) awards of $5,000 each to two (2) California cities/towns to enable summer internships: $5,000 will come from Judy’s estate, and CCMF will match another $5,000.
