City managers and local government professionals looking to expand their leadership skills through an executive education program are encouraged to apply for the California City Management Foundation’s Executive Education Grant.
Each year, CCMF offers up to two $10,000 scholarships to active CCMF members pursuing educational programs that support leadership development and professional growth. Scholarship funding can help recipients participate in programs that build leadership skills, introduce new approaches to public service and strengthen their ability to serve their communities.
“CCMF is proud to help our members pursue educational opportunities that can have a lasting impact on both their careers and the communities they serve,” said CCMF Executive Director Ken Pulskamp. “These programs allow local government leaders to gain new perspectives, develop valuable skills and bring innovative ideas back to their organizations.”
Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. Because funding is limited, interested members are encouraged to apply early as they plan their preferred program.
Previous recipients have used the grant to attend respected programs such as the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education program and Stanford University’s Local Governance Summer Institute.
Grant funds are provided as reimbursements upon receipt.
