Each year, the California City Management Foundation (CCMF) presents two awards during the League of California Cities City Managers Conference:

  1. The “City Manager of the Year” Award highlights city managers who have gone above and beyond to guide and support their community.
  2. The “Corporate Sponsor of the Year” Award goes to a partner that has been especially helpful to CCMF members.

CCMF President Ken Striplin announced this year’s winners at the 2026 League of California Cities City Manager Conference in Napa. The awards were presented during the CCMF Annual Member Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, February 12.

2026 Corporate Sponsor of the Year – California Statewide Communities Development Authority (CSCDA)

The Corporate Sponsor of the Year Award recognizes a valued partner whose support has made a meaningful impact on CCMF members throughout the past year. The success of CCMF’s programs, tools and events relies on the dedication of partners like this year’s winner: CSCDA!

Founded in 1988, CSCDA provides local governments with an effective and efficient way to finance community-based public benefit projects. Today, more than 500 cities, counties and special districts participate in CSCDA programs, using its financing tools to support infrastructure, affordable housing, economic development and access to healthcare and education. CSCDA’s commitment to public service is clear, and their continued support of the city management profession, year after year as a CCMF sponsor, makes a meaningful difference. Felicia Williams, Brian Moura, Kevin O’Rourke and Niroop Srivatsa accepted the award on behalf of CSCDA.

Congratulations and thank you to our 2026 CCMF Award winners!
