The California City Management Foundation (CCMF) is delighted to announce its new online series, “Retired and Inspired: The Next Chapter.” Dedicated to retired and in-transition members, former city managers will have the opportunity to share their endeavors post-profession. Similar to the Profiles in Management series, Retired and Inspired will feature in-depth interviews with one city manager at a time.
“We couldn’t be more excited to unveil this new special series,” CCMF President Ken Striplin said. “While we deeply appreciate the outstanding work of active city managers, we also want to honor those who have dedicated years to the profession and are now achieving remarkable things in their retirement.”
Retired and in-transition members are invited to participate in this series and share their stories. If interested in participating, please reach out to the CCMF team at info@cacitymanagers.org. For those wishing to nominate a specific retired or in-transition city manager for consideration in the “Retired and Inspired: The Next Chapter” series, CCMF invites them to reach out through the contact form on our website.
“I’m eager to see what our retired and in-transition members are doing in this season of their lives,” Striplin said. “I’m confident many of them have achievements they are proud of and would love to share.”
CCMF looks forward to highlighting the amazing work of our retired and in-transition members!
