The California City Management Foundation (CCMF) is pleased to announce that all Executive Education Grants for the 2025-26 program year have been awarded. Each year, CCMF offers up to two $10,000 scholarships to active CCMF members who are seeking to participate in educational programs. CCMF Corporate Benefactor Sponsor HdL Companies also offers an additional scholarship for $8,000 for the Local Governance Summer Institute (LGSI) at Stanford University.
“Witnessing the positive difference these grants make for local government professionals is truly inspiring,” said CCMF Executive Director Ken Pulskamp. “By providing access to premier programs such as Harvard and LGSI, we’re helping leaders grow, and in turn, creating stronger, more resilient communities.”
CCMF awarded its Executive Education Grants to Simi Valley Deputy City Manager Heather Sumagaysay and Calabasas Community Services Director Erica Green. Heather Sumagaysay will use her grant for LGSI’s 2026 July program and Erica Green will use her grant to attend the 2026 Harvard Leadership Decision Making program in June 2026.
HdL Companies awarded its scholarship to Calabasas Community Development Director Michael Klein for his upcoming attendance in LGSI’s 2026 July program.
With all three scholarships awarded, the application period for the 2025-26 program year is now closed. CCMF will reopen the application period at the start of the new program year: July 1, 2026. Join us in congratulating this year’s recipients!
