The California City Management Foundation (CCMF) is pleased to announce that all Executive Education Grants for the 2026-27 program year have been awarded. Each year, CCMF offers up to two $10,000 scholarships to active CCMF members who are seeking to participate in educational programs such as Harvard’s Kennedy School of Executive Education and Local Governance Summer Institute (LGSI) seminar at Stanford University..

CCMF awarded its Executive Education Grants to Fairfield Assistant City Manager and Director of Human Resources Farbod Pirouzmand and San Juan Bautista City Manager Ashley Collick. Farbod Pirouzmand used his grant for LGSI’s 2026 program and Ashley Collick used her grant to attend the 2026 Harvard Leadership Decision Making program.

“The program exceeded my expectations and gave me practical tools I can begin applying immediately in my role as city manager,” said San Juan Bautista City Manager Ashley Collick. “I returned home with new frameworks for thinking about judgment, bias, risk and decision-making, along with perspectives I look forward to bringing back to my team and sharing with colleagues across the city management profession.”

“I truly appreciate CCMF’s support of career development for people in our profession. It is a testament to the values this organization espouses,” said Fairfield Assistant City Manager and Director of Human Resources Farbod Pirouzmand.

With both scholarships awarded, the application period for the 2026-27 program year is now closed. CCMF will reopen the application period at the start of the new program year: July 1, 2027. Join us in congratulating this year’s recipients!
