The California City Management Foundation (CCMF) is reopening applications for one additional Executive Education Grant for $9,000 to support a member’s attendance at the 2027 Local Governance Summer Institute (LGSI) at Stanford University. This additional opportunity is made possible through the support of CCMF Corporate Benefactor Sponsor HdL Companies.
LGSI brings together local government professionals, academic experts and industry leaders to explore challenges facing local agencies and share approaches to effective governance. The program offers participants an opportunity to strengthen their leadership skills, exchange ideas and bring new perspectives back to their communities.
Earlier this year, CCMF awarded its two $10,000 Executive Education Grants for the 2026-27 program year to Fairfield Assistant City Manager and Director of Human Resources Farbod Pirouzmand and San Juan Bautista City Manager Ashley Collick. Pirouzmand used his grant to attend the 2026 LGSI program, while Collick attended Harvard Kennedy School’s 2026 Leadership Decision Making program.
With both grants awarded, this additional opportunity allows CCMF to support another local government professional pursuing executive education. Through its partnership with HdL Companies, CCMF continues to invest in professional development and leadership opportunities for its members.
Active CCMF members interested in attending the 2027 LGSI program are encouraged to apply.
