Congratulations to CCMF Vice President and Burbank City Manager Justin Hess for receiving a 2020 Mary Alice O’Connor Vision Award from the Family Service Agency (FSA) of Burbank this weekend.

The Vision Award is given each year to individuals who have done extraordinary work in the Burbank community. The award honors the memory of Mary Alice O’Connor, a dedicated volunteer and founding board member of the FSA.

This year, the FSA recognized Justin’s two decades of service to the City with the Vision Award. State Senator Anthony Portantino was the second honoree.

Justin received the notification of his award in a surprise announcement earlier this month attended by Congressman Adam Schiff, the entire City Council, and staff from the City and the FSA. The award ceremony took place at the FSA’s annual Imagine a City Gala on Saturday, October 24, an event that the FSA reimagined this year to comply with health guidelines.

Thank you to Justin for being such a great example of our mission: pursuing excellence in city management. Congratulations!
