CCMF connected with a dozen city leaders across the state to compile “City Responses to COVID-19,” a new resource for CCMF members. The resource, now live on the Members-Only section of CCMF’s website, includes profiles of 14 city managers and staff who found innovative approaches to difficult problems.

Across the state, municipalities have faced a diversity of challenges since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Cities that rely heavily on tourism revenue have dealt with budget shortfalls while working through the complexities of guiding visitors through safer-at-home orders. Cities with larger unhoused populations have taken action to protect those most vulnerable to the virus. Cities with smaller operating budgets have devised creative solutions to distribute information and resources.

When dealing with unprecedented circumstances, members of the city management profession have much to gain by learning from one another. We hope this resource fosters greater sharing and collaboration among our colleagues at a time when we need it most.

In addition to accessing the “City Responses to COVID-19” resource, CCMF members can take advantage of our Online Professional Toolkit service, resumé review service, and our collection of articles and legislative updates. Feel free to contact CCMF to let us know how else we can support you. Stay safe!
